I dunno 'bout you, but when things aren't "quite as they should or could be", I find the best remedy is to busy my hands and mind. That could be with paint, with wood, wool or other... it not only stimulates positive thoughts, it helps me think better. So whether you like to artistically paint, or knit-crochet a sweater, or are adding a funky new wall texture to your walls that warms your special place and changes the entire mood... or you're making a gift for someone special, being creative and doing something that BENEFITS your home, a friend or yourself is a positive and gratifying experience. That's what my journal is all about.
Read, get ideas, find step by step projects that you can do with stuff from around the house. Find links to paint projects, some artistically in watercolors, some for furniture staining or even faux finishing (on walls, furniture, cupboards, in murals and more!) a whole bunch of stuff, that'll remedy and gratify the inner creative you, at least I hope that's what it brings you! Enjoy your stay, tag, comment, expand on ideas and have some creative fun!

This is a little something to help fellow journallers with adding tables in their journals. (hem hem)

It's a JPG so you can copy it to your files and experiment with the sizes and colors. http://www.webmonkey.com has the biggest selection of color codes that I know of and a ton of other stuff you might find helpful in creating creative and colorful looks for your journals. (the link wi'll open in a new window.... bye for now.....
I don't feel that creative.
I also want to check out Steve's most recent installment on the tutorial he's doing, but that will need to wait a bit. Thanks for this clue! I've been having trouble figuring out the table thing.
